Job Title: Program Manager
Location: Philadelphia, PA
Work Type: Hybrid - 4 Days onsite , 1 day work from home
Duration: 12‑month Contract
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Program Manager III to oversee and drive the successful execution of complex programs across multiple teams. This role is responsible for coordinating program activities, managing schedules and budgets, and ensuring alignment between technical execution and business objectives. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with strong organizational and leadership skills, capable of managing cross‑functional initiatives and delivering results in a fast‑paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage end‑to‑end program execution, including scheduling, budgeting, and technical performance
- Develop and maintain program plans, timelines, and deliverables to ensure successful project outcomes
- Monitor program progress and proactively identify risks, issues, and dependencies
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (e.g., Engineering, Operations, Finance, Product) to align on goals and execution
- Support contract management activities, including assisting with negotiations, modifications, and compliance requirements
- Prepare and review proposals, project plans, specifications, and financial documentation
- Ensure adherence to master schedules, budgets, and organizational standards
- Provide guidance and direction to team members assigned to the program
- Act as a key advisor to stakeholders on program status, challenges, and strategic decisions
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance processes and program efficiency
Required Skillsets & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field
- 5-8 years of experience in program management or a related role
- Proven ability to manage complex, cross‑functional programs
- Strong project planning, organizational, and time management skills
- Experience managing budgets, schedules, and program performance metrics
- Excellent problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a large enterprise or telecommunications/media environment
- Familiarity with contract management and vendor coordination
- Experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery environments
- Proficiency with program/project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Smartsheet)
