Wij zijn op zoek naar een Junior Data Engineer om ons groeiende datateam te versterken en een solide basis op te bouwen in moderne data engineering. Samen met ervaren teamleden en onder begeleiding van de Data Lead help je bij het ontwikkelen en onderhouden van ons datawarehouse, onze datapijplijnen en analytische datamodellen met behulp van Databricks, dbt, SQL en Python. Dit is een uitstekende kans voor iemand aan het begin van zijn of haar carrière die praktijkervaring wil opdoen met datawarehousing, dimensionale modellering en cloud-gebaseerde dataplatformen.

Belangrijkste Verantwoordelijkheden

Ontwikkelen en onderhouden van dimensionale datamodellen volgens de Kimball-methodologie.Ontwikkelen, testen en documenteren van SQL-transformaties en datapijplijnen.Bewaken van datakwaliteit en ondersteunen bij het onderzoeken en oplossen van dataproblemen.Werken met Databricks, dbt en moderne cloud-gebaseerde data-oplossingen.Samenwerken met de Data Lead en stakeholders om data-oplossingen te realiseren.Werken volgens technische best practices, waaronder Git, code reviews, testen en documentatie.

Gewenst Profiel

0-5 jaar ervaring in Data Engineering, Analytics Engineering of een vergelijkbaar vakgebied.Sterke SQL-vaardigheden, inclusief joins, transformaties en queryontwikkeling.Ervaring met of kennis van Python.Interesse in datawarehousing en dimensionale modellering (ervaring met Kimball is een pré).Bekendheid met, of de bereidheid om te leren werken met, tools zoals dbt en Databricks.Inzicht in datakwaliteitsconcepten en een nauwkeurige werkwijze.Praktische kennis van Git.Nieuwsgierig, proactief en leergierig.Uitstekende beheersing van het Nederlands en Engels (C1-niveau).
