We are seeking a versatile Data Scientist with strong expertise in model development, segmentation, and optimisation. The ideal candidate is adaptable, able to approach new problems with curiosity, and apply the right methods or classifiers to deliver impactful solutions. Experience in revenue management, pricing, or business operations is highly desirable.
ResponsibilitiesDevelop, test, and optimise predictive and classification models.
Work across multiple data science methods and techniques, applying the best approach to each problem.
Translate complex business challenges into data-driven solutions.
Collaborate with stakeholders across technical and business functions.
Contribute to both Data Science and ML Engineering efforts, treating them as complementary disciplines.
RequirementsProven experience as a Data Scientist, with a broad range of methods and classifiers.
Strong background in segmentation, model development, and optimisation.
Ability to quickly learn and apply new techniques to novel problems.
Advanced degree preferred (PhD nice to have, Master's or strong Bachelor's accepted with solid experience).
Domain experience in revenue management, pricing, or business operations is a plus.

Overview:
 I'm supporting a rapidly growing tech client that's kicking off a high-impact data project and looking to bring on a contract Data Scientist to join the team. This is a hands-on role focused on building models and extracting insights from complex datasets, with a strong emphasis on experimentation, iteration, and delivery.
The environment is fast-paced but collaborative, and you'll be working alongside experienced data engineers, product managers, and domain experts.
Key Responsibilities:
