A rapidly growing technology organization is seeking a Network Engineer to lead the design, engineering, and deployment of scalable, high‑performance network systems supporting a nationwide 5G infrastructure. This role focuses on modernizing routing architecture, including consolidating multiple data centers into a streamlined MPLS/Segment Routing backbone. You will drive major engineering initiatives, ensure network resiliency, and provide technical leadership across cross‑functional teams.
Responsibilities
Analyze network and service specifications and define architecture for complex multi‑VRF environments.
Design, plan, and implement large‑scale service‑provider network configurations.
Create high‑level and low‑level network diagrams to communicate engineering solutions.
Lead network testing, validation, and integration to ensure end‑to‑end performance.
Provide hands‑on engineering support for 24x7 production operations.
Drive network upgrades, enhancements, and new feature deployments.
Required Skills & Experience
10+ years in large enterprise or service‑provider networking.
Expert knowledge of ISIS, MPLS, Segment Routing, and advanced BGP.
Strong experience with multi‑VRF, QoS, traffic shaping, IPAM, DNS, DHCP.
Understanding of firewalls, VPNs, TACACS, ISE, and network security principles.
Automation experience with Python, Bash, or Ansible.
Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering preferred.
Professional certifications (CCNA, CCNP, CCIE) are a plus.
Cloud networking experience (AWS/Azure) is beneficial.
