Overview
We are seeking a Business Analyst to join a team supporting a restaurant-focused Point-of-Sale (POS) platform. This role will work cross-functionally to gather requirements, support Agile delivery, and ensure seamless collaboration between business and technical teams.
This position is ideal for someone who is technically curious, proactive, and comfortable navigating both business processes and system integrations.
Key Responsibilities
Requirements & Agile Delivery
- Collaborate with Product Managers and Engineers to translate features into user stories
- Maintain and prioritize backlog items including enhancements, bugs, and technical work
- Ensure stories are clear, actionable, and aligned with delivery timelines
- Lead refinement sessions and support sprint execution
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Product, UX, and Engineering teams to align on requirements
- Communicate effectively across technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Proactively address risks, dependencies, and blockers
Testing & Validation
- Support UAT and ensure delivered features meet business requirements
- Review completed work prior to stakeholder sign-off
- Help drive quality and reduce defects
Release & Documentation
- Support ongoing releases, including validation and coordination activities
- Track and manage feature flags through release lifecycle
- Work with documentation teams to produce user-facing materials
Tools & Technologies
- Jira / Atlassian tools
- Confluence
- Slack
- Figma
Required Skills & Experience
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Strong backlog management and requirement-writing skills
- Ability to understand APIs, integrations, and system workflows
- Experience working closely with development teams
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently without heavy oversight
Preferred Experience
- Background in payment processing or POS platforms
- Experience with both software and hardware systems
- Familiarity with integration-heavy environments

Education
- Degree or certification in Business Analysis, Technology, or related field
OR equivalent hands-on experience
Interview Process
- Round 1: Virtual interview with leadership (technical + experience focus)
- Round 2: Team-based behavioral interview (30-45 minutes)
