We are seeking a Business Analyst to join a team supporting a restaurant-focused Point-of-Sale (POS) platform. This role will work cross-functionally to gather requirements, support Agile delivery, and ensure seamless collaboration between business and technical teams.
This position is ideal for someone who is technically curious, proactive, and comfortable navigating both business processes and system integrations.
Key ResponsibilitiesRequirements & Agile DeliveryCollaborate with Product Managers and Engineers to translate features into user storiesMaintain and prioritize backlog items including enhancements, bugs, and technical workEnsure stories are clear, actionable, and aligned with delivery timelinesLead refinement sessions and support sprint executionCross-Functional CollaborationPartner with Product, UX, and Engineering teams to align on requirementsCommunicate effectively across technical and non-technical stakeholdersProactively address risks, dependencies, and blockersTesting & ValidationSupport UAT and ensure delivered features meet business requirementsReview completed work prior to stakeholder sign-offHelp drive quality and reduce defectsRelease & DocumentationSupport ongoing releases, including validation and coordination activitiesTrack and manage feature flags through release lifecycleWork with documentation teams to produce user-facing materialsTools & TechnologiesJira / Atlassian toolsConfluenceSlackFigmaRequired Skills & ExperienceExperience working in Agile/Scrum environmentsStrong backlog management and requirement-writing skillsAbility to understand APIs, integrations, and system workflowsExperience working closely with development teamsStrong organizational and communication skillsAbility to work independently without heavy oversightPreferred ExperienceBackground in payment processing or POS platformsExperience with both software and hardware systemsFamiliarity with integration-heavy environmentsPerformance MetricsRequirement quality and clarityCustomer and stakeholder satisfactionReduction in rework, bugs, and defectsOn-time delivery of assigned workEducationDegree or certification in Business Analysis, Technology, or related field
