Network Infrastructure Engineer

Job Summary
We are looking for a Telecom Infrastructure Engineer to design, deploy, operate, and support robust IT and telecom infrastructure systems that enable reliable network services. The role focuses on supporting core telecom environments including data centers, network elements, OSS/BSS platforms, and cloud‑based telecom workloads, ensuring high availability, performance, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain telecom and IT infrastructure supporting voice, data, and signaling platforms
- Manage data center infrastructure, including servers, storage, virtualization, and network connectivity
- Support telecom network elements such as MSC, SBC, IMS, NMS, mediation, billing, and provisioning systems
- Ensure high availability and redundancy for critical telecom services
- Monitor infrastructure performance, fault management, and capacity planning
- Troubleshoot complex infrastructure and network issues impacting telecom services
- Implement and maintain DR, BCP, and HA architectures for telecom platforms
- Collaborate with Network, NOC, OSS/BSS, and Security teams
- Automate routine infrastructure tasks using scripts and configuration tools
- Apply security controls in line with telecom regulatory and compliance standards
- Maintain detailed documentation, topology diagrams, and operational runbooks
- Support upgrades, migrations, and expansion of telecom infrastructure
Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical Skills
- Strong experience with Linux and/or Windows server administration
- Good understanding of telecom network architecture
- IP/MPLS, WAN, LAN
- SIP, SS7, SIGTRAN (basic to intermediate level)
- Experience with networking concepts: TCP/IP, DNS, Routing, Firewalls, Load Balancers
- Hands‑on experience with virtualization platforms (VMware, KVM, Hyper‑V)
- Working knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) in telecom workloads
- Experience with monitoring and alerting tools (Zabbix, Prometheus, SNMP‑based tools)
- Familiarity with OSS/BSS environments and integration points
- Understanding of backup, disaster recovery, and high‑availability systems
- Scripting skills using Bash, PowerShell, or Python
