Director of Managed Services (Data Protection & Cyber Risk)

Im am seeking a senior leader to build, scale, and drive a Managed Services function with a strong focus on data protection, cyber risk, and responsible AI. This role will have full responsibility for shaping strategy, delivering client satisfaction, and driving commercial growth, while leading a specialist team and collaborating with senior stakeholders across the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Scale and mature the Managed Services offering, ensuring excellence across data protection, cybersecurity, and emerging technology services.
  • Deliver on financial targets by driving revenue growth, profitability, and efficient resource utilisation.
  • Lead strategic business development initiatives within key markets, building strong client and partner relationships.
  • Oversee the development of proposals, bids, and outreach activities to enhance visibility and market position.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product teams to develop service bundles, solutions, and go-to-market strategies.
  • Partner with finance to manage budgets, billing, and performance reporting.
  • Provide leadership and mentoring for the Managed Services team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and professional growth.
  • Contribute to the organisation's wider strategy as part of the extended leadership team.

Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years in senior consulting or managed services leadership roles, with a strong track record of business development and growth.
  • Proven experience in building and managing client-facing services in data protection, cyber risk, or related domains.
  • Commercially astute, with experience in budget management, revenue forecasting, and P&L accountability.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and engage senior stakeholders.
  • Experience designing and implementing organisational change and driving measurable service improvement.
  • Familiarity with areas such as digital transformation, information security, and AI is desirable.
  • Advanced degree (Master's or equivalent) and/or relevant industry certifications preferred.
