Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned and commercially astute Client Director to lead and grow one of our flagship financial services accounts in Ireland. This is a senior, high-impact role suited to someone who thrives on building strong client relationships, driving strategic account growth, and representing delivery excellence at the highest levels.

You will act as the key point of contact for a major financial services client, responsible for nurturing long-term relationships, expanding the account footprint, and ensuring alignment between client expectations and delivery capabilities. This is not a pure sales or delivery role - it's a strategic, relationship-led leadership position for someone who can bridge commercial, delivery, and client relationship priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary interface for all commercial matters, escalations, and strategic conversations across the client.

  • Own and grow the client relationship, currently involving ~200 engaged professionals, with a strong focus on expansion.

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the account and wider Irish market.

  • Own the full account P&L, revenue targets, pipeline, and commercial performance.

  • Act as a trusted partner to senior client stakeholders, providing visible leadership, proactive engagement, and a consistent feedback loop.

  • Liaise between global delivery teams (offshore and near shore) and senior client stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and client satisfaction.

  • Champion a culture of agility, responsiveness, and accountability while providing the client with confidence and consistency.

  • Collaborate closely with internal sales and delivery leadership to ensure alignment and long-term value creation.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Location: Based in Dublin, with deep knowledge of the Irish financial services ecosystem.

  • Experience: 10+ years in account leadership, client partner, or director-level roles in technology or consultancy, with a strong background in financial services.

  • Background: Previously worked with Tier-1 consulting or systems integration firms (e.g., Accenture, Wipro, EY, etc.).

  • Strengths: Commercially sharp, relationship-led, politically astute, and operationally strong.

  • Style: Confident, diplomatic, and credible - able to operate at senior client levels while influencing internal teams.

  • Mindset: Excited by the challenge of owning and growing a key account in a "scale-up" type environment.

  • Delivery-aware: You understand tech delivery well and can speak fluently with engineers, project leads, and client stakeholders alike.

Nice to Have:

  • Prior experience managing a team of 100+ in a blended delivery model (onshore/offshore).

  • Background in digital transformation, fintech, or enterprise tech solutions.
