We're looking for someone with:
At least 5 years of experience in operations testing, with a focus on component and systems testing
A strong background in security compliance, ideally within a Defence environment
Hands-on experience with automation tools like Selenium, Appium, JUnit, or TestNG
Proficiency in scripting or programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript
Relevant certifications such as ISTQB or CSTE (a plus, not a must)
The ability to lead, motivate, and collaborate with testing teams across fast-paced environments

Extensive experience as a Solutions Architect or in a similar role, with a proven track record of designing and delivering complex technology solutions in the defence or security sector.Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.Deep understanding of defence collaboration technologies, including secure messaging, file sharing, video conferencing, and information assurance.Strong knowledge of security principles, encryption standards, and compliance frameworks relevant to defence and national security environments (e.g., UK OFFICIAL/SECRET, NATO SECRET).Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.Proficiency in solution design and modelling tools, enterprise architecture frameworks, and cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), virtualisation, networking, and cybersecurity tools.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering practical and effective solutions to real-world challenges.GCS is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
