Service Desk Analyst (L1)

Are you looking to join a growing IT support team in an exciting and fast-paced environment? I'm currently working with a well-established public sector organisation that is expanding its internal IT support function. They are seeking a personable and motivated Level 1 Service Desk Analyst to provide first-line technical support for users across multiple locations.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone early in their IT career who is eager to grow and develop within a collaborative team. The role is fully on-site in Dublin and offers a strong chance of extension beyond the initial 6-month contract.

Key Focus Areas:ServiceNow: Logging, categorising, and escalating tickets using the ITSM platform.Office 365: Supporting users with Outlook, Teams, and other O365 applications.Active Directory: Assisting with password resets and basic account access issues.What You'll Be Doing:Acting as the first point of contact for IT support via phone, email, and ServiceNow.Troubleshooting issues related to Windows 10/11, Office 365, printers, and mobile devices.Providing clear, user-friendly guidance to non-technical users.Assisting with device setup and support during onboarding/offboarding.Collaborating with Level 2 support and contributing to knowledge base improvements.What We're Looking For:At least 2 years' of experience in a service desk or IT support role.Strong communication and problem-solving skills.Familiarity with ServiceNow (or similar ITSM tools), Office 365, and Windows environments.Exposure to Active Directory is a plus.A proactive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow.
