Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Programme Lead - Change & Transformation to drive a large-scale operational integration programme across multiple business units within a fast-growing organisation.

This role will be responsible for delivering a strategic transformation initiative focused on business integration, process standardisation, and synergy realisation, while supporting aggressive growth targets.

You must have experience within Power & Grid or Facilities Management or Construction Domain

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a complex business transformation programme involving multiple delivery-focused business units
  • Drive operational integration across organisations with overlapping capabilities
  • Identify and implement synergies while maintaining individual business identities/brands
  • Establish and build a PMO function from scratch, including governance, reporting, and delivery frameworks
  • Standardise key processes such as:
    • Risk assessments
    • Operational procedures
    • Delivery methodologies
  • Develop and implement a unified operating model across all business units
  • Manage a phased integration approach across different entities
  • Engage with and influence senior stakeholders (including Managing Directors) to ensure alignment and accountability
  • Drive programme momentum, ensuring delivery against defined timelines and business objectives
  • Work alongside external consulting partners to align strategy with execution

Required Experience & Skills

  • Proven experience leading large-scale transformation or business integration programmes
  • Strong track record of setting up and managing PMOs in complex environments
  • Experience delivering operational change (not just strategy or advisory)
  • Ability to manage and influence senior stakeholders and leadership teams
  • Demonstrated success in multi-entity or multi-business environments
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to operate in ambiguous, fast-paced settings

Preferred Background

  • Experience within Utilities, Energy, Infrastructure, Construction, or Engineering sectors
  • Exposure to organisations undergoing rapid growth, consolidation, or restructuring

  • Able to see the big picture while executing at a detailed level
