Job Title: Program Manager - Power & Energy Transition
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Program Manager - Power & Energy Transition to support a large-scale infrastructure program focused on powering new logistics and distribution facilities across the United States.
This is a unique opportunity for a professional who combines strong program management experience with a solid understanding of electrical infrastructure and utility coordination. The successful candidate will lead cross-functional initiatives to ensure new facilities receive power on schedule by working closely with utility providers, engineering , construction partners, and internal stakeholders.
This is not an IT or software program management role. Candidates should have experience managing infrastructure, utility, electrical, energy, or power-related projects.
Key Responsibilities
Lead power planning and utility coordination for new infrastructure and facility projects.Manage utility interconnection activities, including capacity assessments, connection timelines, and coordination with utility providers.Partner with engineering, construction, design, and operations teams to ensure projects remain on schedule.Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, risk registers, and executive status reports.Identify project risks, resolve issues, and manage cross-functional dependencies.Coordinate multiple concurrent projects while balancing competing priorities.Support temporary power planning and alternative solutions when permanent utility connections are delayed.Facilitate stakeholder meetings, communicate project updates, and drive timely decision-making.Ensure successful project delivery through strong planning, governance, and execution.Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).5+ years of program or project management experience supporting infrastructure, utilities, energy, electrical, construction, or industrial projects.Experience working directly with electric utility providers on utility interconnections or power delivery projects.Strong understanding of electrical infrastructure, including substations, transformers, electrical distribution systems, and power capacity planning.Experience managing multiple projects and coordinating cross-functional stakeholders.Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and business teams.Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting large-scale logistics, industrial, manufacturing, data center, or infrastructure programs.Background in utility distribution, electrical engineering, grid modernization, renewable energy, or power systems.Experience with temporary power solutions, generator deployments, or microgrid projects.PMP or similar project management certification is a plus.
