About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced IT Manager based in Galway to oversee and optimise IT systems across multiple sites in the EMEA and US regions. This is a key leadership role that will act as the primary IT contact for regional locations, driving IT operations, service delivery, and project implementation aligned with the global IT strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
Implement and support global IT initiatives across the assigned regions.
Manage IT operations, service delivery, and project rollouts to regional sites.
Identify opportunities for technology improvements to enhance business efficiency.
Coordinate regional responses during IT emergencies and cybersecurity incidents.
Develop and maintain policies, SOPs, and documentation to ensure efficient IT management.
Lead IT integration efforts as part of mergers and acquisitions.
Support audit and compliance activities.
Oversee performance and development of IT teams and service providers within the region.
Serve as the IT liaison to regional and site leadership, providing expertise and insights.
Provide flexible support across time zones, including occasional extended hours to cover US and Mexico regions.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
Managing enterprise applications (ERP, WMS, MES preferred).
Experience with cloud/hybrid environments, including Azure, AAD, InTune, M365, and associated tools.
Supporting end-user computing and workplace IT services.
Implementing and managing cybersecurity policies and operations.
Delivering Microsoft 365-based solutions (Teams, SharePoint Online, PowerBI, PowerAutomate, etc.).
Operating within ITIL-based frameworks.
Strong stakeholder and vendor management skills.
Experience managing IT transitions during mergers or acquisitions is advantageous.
Prior experience supporting manufacturing or similarly scaled environments
Key Competencies:
Strong project and time management skills.
Ability to work effectively in dynamic environments and communicate clearly with stakeholders.
Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
Willingness to continuously learn and develop IT skills in support of business growth.
Willingness to travel occasionally for business needs.
