This is a hands-on plus data analysis role, not a desk job.

- Resolve day-to-day process issues on the production line
- Support line balancing and production workflow optimization
- Track and analyze production data to identify trends, issues, and improvement opportunities
- Communicate results and feedback to the automation/equipment team on what is working and what needs adjustment
- Work with R&D as the product design evolves, adapting processes to product changes
- Develop and deliver training for operators and technicians on new processes and equipment
- Support process documentation including work instructions, control plans, and validation protocols
Required Skills & Experience
- 3+ years of experience in process engineering, manufacturing engineering, or industrial engineering in a production environment
- Strong statistical analysis skills: Minitab (preferred) and/or Excel-based data analysis
- Experience running designed experiments, capability studies, or structured sample runs
- Hands-on manufacturing experience - must be comfortable working on the production floor with equipment and product
- Experience with process issue troubleshooting and root cause analysis
- Good communication skills to work across automation, quality, R&D, and production teams
Preferred Experience
- Background in fiber optic manufacturing, precision assembly, or connector termination processes
- Experience with line balancing and production workflow optimization
- Familiarity with process validation (IQ, OQ, PQ) and control plan development
- Lean / Six Sigma experience or certification
- Experience training operators on new processes
