We are seeking an experienced and strategic EHS leader to drive the development and execution of the Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) strategy across the organisation. This role will oversee the design and implementation of EHS policies, programs, and practices to ensure a safe, compliant, and sustainable working environment. The ideal candidate will lead efforts to integrate EHS principles into all operational areas, ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulations while fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement across multiple sectors, including telecommunications, utilities, and construction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a key advisor on EHS matters across the organisation, promoting a culture of safety and collaboration on all projects.
- Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive EHS strategy that aligns with organisational goals, ensuring compliance with key industry standards.
- Oversee the annual EHS budget, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources while meeting compliance and safety targets.
- Partner with both senior leadership and stakeholders to drive EHS initiatives.
- Oversee robust risk management processes, from risk assessments and pre-qualification to operational mitigation strategies.
- Establish, monitor, and update EHS policies and procedures to align with evolving industry best practices and regulatory changes.

- Holds a valid driving license.
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum 10 years in EHS management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within telecommunications, utilities, or construction.
- Qualifications and Training listed in the job specification.
- Strong working knowledge of ISO 45001 (18001), ISO 14001, and ISO 9001; familiarity with ISO 50001 and ISO 27001 is a plus.
- Trained or experienced in internal auditing processes.
- Strong background in risk assessments, method statements, and health and safety plans.
- Proven experience in incident investigation and corrective action management.
Salary: 90-100k per annum
