About the Role

We're partnering with a dynamic financial services group undergoing exciting transformation-and they're looking for a IT Procurement Specialist to join their growing Dublin-based team. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of procurement strategy and operations, working closely with senior stakeholders and driving real impact across the business.

This role offers significant autonomy-you'll be the sole IT procurement professional in a highly collaborative team, with strong support from vendor management and outsourcing functions.

Key Responsibilities

IT Procurement Operations

  • Manage and categorise incoming procurement requests.

  • Plan and maintain the procurement demand pipeline including renewals and terminations.

  • Collaborate with Accounts Payable for new vendor set-ups.

  • Foster strong internal relationships across functions (IT, Risk, HR, Finance, Operations).

  • Lead and support RfX processes for high-value/risk projects.

  • Negotiate and execute contracts across a range of services.

IT Procurement Strategy & Performance

  • Contribute to the design of fit-for-purpose procurement processes and tools.

  • Conduct spend analysis across all entities to identify savings opportunities.

  • Support regulatory procurement projects (e.g., DORA).

  • Assist with vendor exit planning and MI/reporting for procurement function.

What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years in a IT procurement role with generalist knowledge

  • Proven negotiation experience on €5K-€250K projects

  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills

  • Experience in IT or professional services procurement is a distinct advantage

  • Exposure to financial services or insurance is a plus, but not essential

  • Ability to work across local and group-level requirements
