Role: Oracle Fusion Consultant

Key Responsibilities
Work with Oracle Cloud Business Process Owner groups, as well as Applications Solution delivery and boundary Systems teams to prepare a list of Cutover tasks.Prepare and refine our detailed cutover plan, with activities, dependencies between activities, resources, and timelines required for transitioning to our Production environments.Coordinate with Solution delivery teams to optimize the time needed for Cutover activities.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, business units, external suppliers, customers, and Partners, to ensure alignment on cutover activities and Business & IT readiness.Work with data conversion teams, ensuring data migration activities have been optimized and can be completed as per the Cutover Plan.Work with Business teams to develop interim process so that business can operate with minimal disruptions during the Cutover period.Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with cutover activities, including data migration, Change Management, Security & Controls, system outages/downtime, and system administration issues.Support and lead teams in conducting a full rehearsal of all cutover activities, prior to our Production cutover phase.Work with Corporate communications team and act as a draft/review resource for all cutover-related communications, keeping stakeholders informed of timelines, activities, and any issues or changes.Provide status updates to Stakeholders and ensure Cutover activities align with the Program Schedule.Develop and maintain contingency plans for critical cutover activities, preparing for potential delays, rollbacks, or system issues.Oversee post-cutover stabilization activities, ensuring any issues are addressed quickly and that end-users have the support they need.Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all cutover activities, including step-by-step procedures, roles and responsibilities, and lessons learned.After cutover, conduct a post-mortem review and implement best practices for future deployments or quarterly updates.Support the organization in adopting the Oracle Cloud modules, and the related business processes, through hypercare (dedicated specialized support) to business-as-usual (BAU) operationsAct as a liaison for global (24/7) cutover team, by bridging shifts in India (Bangalore) and US (RTP) - ensure a proper handoff of daily execution progress across geographies
Knowledge and Skills
Project Management experience in managing complex cloud-based implementationsProven experience managing cutover activities for large-scale projects.Experience in Data Migration, Change Management, Security & Controls and Hypercare activities.Experience with Jira, SmartSheet, and MS ProjectExceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships, influence others, and move toward a common vision or goal; problem solving and root cause identification skills.Excellent active listening skills with the ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences.Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively with and through others; self-motivated, tenacious, adaptable, and able to work effectively at all levels in an organization.Organized with a natural inclination for planning strategy and tactics; accurate, above average attention to detail, and ability to perform several tasks simultaneously to meet deadlines.Familiarity with project management approaches, tools, and phases of the project lifecycle.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint). Experience with MS Project, Visio, and graphics programs preferred.
