  • Valuation team responsibilities
    • Perform reviews and checks on the valuations input by the Team Analysts ensuring the correctness of the underlying data.
    • Ensure all underlying NAVs which are taken from the GP capital account directly using NAV as practical expedient are captured accurately.
    • Assist the Team manager in the day-to-day workflow management of the Team.
    • Assist with the sign-off of fund valuations and be involved in the end-to-end process across the DnA (Operations) Teams.
    • Assist with the production of valuation papers for the various Pantheon Valuation Committees and attendance at meetings.
    • Be pro-active in coming up with initiatives and process changes to improve workflows of the team.
    • Assist the team manager to perform quality assurance checks of valuations data
    • Coordinate the Pantheon Fund's audit processes from a valuation team perspective, providing input to areas that require technical expertise.
    • Provide support to the Team Manager by representing the Team on DnA (Operations) wide projects.

Knowledge and Experience Required

  • Strong technical skills, with emphasis on Fund of Fund private equity (including equity, infrastructure and private debt) valuations techniques, accounting and data reporting
  • 4+ years' experience in private markets
  • Proficiency with Microsoft office tools; Excel, PowerPoint etc.. and knowledge of other data analysis and visualisation tools like Power BI.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively to objectively analyse technical processes
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to develop strong and open working relationships
  • Strong focus on control and procedures is essential
  • Experience of ensuring timely and accurate delivery, working with tight deadlines
  • Experienced professional working with data in a financial environment.
  • Knowledge of data analysis and management techniques
  • Self-starter with strong organisational skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills, and ability to guide and coach team members on tasks
