IT Infrastructure Project Manager
I am looking for an IT Infrastructure Project Manager to join a leading international professional services organisation on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract 80-90K per annum plus benefits, based in Dublin city centre, working 3 days onsite per week.
This role sits at the centre of a major IT transformation programme, with a focus on infrastructure, security, and operations.
You'll be delivering high‑impact projects that modernise the organisation's technology landscape and directly improve service delivery and operational performance.
What you will be doing in the role:
- Lead the end‑to‑end delivery of infrastructure, security, and IT operations projects.
- Define project scope, requirements, timelines, budgets, risks, and deliverables with cross‑functional stakeholders.
- Manage project resources, vendors, and internal teams to ensure alignment and success.
- Drive change management efforts to ensure successful adoption of new technologies.
- Oversee status reporting, governance updates, and milestone tracking throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct post‑implementation reviews to support continuous improvement.
What you will need:
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 5+ years' project management experience delivering IT transformation or infrastructure programmes.
- Strong knowledge of infrastructure technologies - cloud, networking, servers, and storage.
- Solid understanding of security principles and risk management.
- Proficiency with project management tools including MS Project.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and leadership skills.
Desirable:
- PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, or ITIL certifications.
- Experience delivering complex IT infrastructure projects in a professional services or regulated environment.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to navigate ambiguity.
- Experience with Microsoft cloud technologies.
