Job Title: Business Analyst
About the Role
We are looking for a highly driven Systems/Business Analyst with strong technical understanding and excellent communication skills to support ongoing and upcoming networking projects. This role blends business analysis, systems understanding, and light project coordination ideal for someone who enjoys translating complex requirements into clear, user‑friendly, and customer‑facing documentation. You will work closely with Product Owners, Development Teams, QA, and Upper Management to ensure new mobile features, notifications, and customer experience enhancements are well‑defined, validated, and ready for deployment.
As a subject matter expert in: Mobile functionality, systems architecture & systems integration; API design, webservices & technologies; Agile principles & scrum ceremonies; Jira & Confluence tools, you play an essential role and have responsibilities in the planning, requirements, design, development, testing, implementation, and post-production support of mobile product and services. The Business Analyst will be responsible for formulating and defining systems and objectives through discovery and analysis of functional/business needs of applicable provisioning and sales order entry or support systems. Constructs and delivers feature requirements supporting the Plan of Record and supports implementation planning and other operational preparations throughout the product lifecycle. Devises or modifies processes to solve complex systems problems, integrates knowledge of business and functional priorities, and acts as a key contributor in a complex and crucial environment. May lead teams or projects and shares expertise.
Key Responsibilities
Requirement Gathering & Business Documentation
- Work with Product Owners and feature leads to collect and refine business requirements.
- Convert BRDs (Business Requirement Documents) into clear, customer-focused content and user-friendly language.
- Create user stories, functional requirements, and business use cases in Agile/Scrum format.
- Maintain consistent documentation standards using JIRA, Confluence, and other tools.
Systems & Technical Understanding
- Understand mobile service workflows: activation, sustaining, cancellation, new line setup, and automation within the mobile ecosystem.
- Collaborate with the development team to ensure technical feasibility and accurate interpretation of requirements.
- Interpret and work with APIs (no coding required), with the ability to understand integration points and business logic.
Testing, Validation & Quality Check
- Perform requirement validation and pre‑deployment verification to ensure accuracy before code moves to upper environments.
- Review test cases and work with QA teams to recommend improvements or corrections.
- Understand incident tests and overall QA processes (execution not required, but validation is key).
Communication & Stakeholder Management
- Act as a bridge between Product, Development, QA, and senior leadership.
- Present requirements and updates in a structured, timeline-driven manner.
- Liaise with the Legal and Verification teams for approval of SMS templates, notifications, and other customer communications.
Must-Have Skills
- Strong understanding of systems, technical flows, and APIs
- Experience documenting in BBD format
- Hands-on with:
- JIRA
- Confluence
- Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Microsoft Suite
- ATVT (if applicable)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to independently manage multiple assigned projects
- Good understanding of business process modeling
