Field Engineer
Position Overview
We are seeking a Field Engineer to support the installation, testing, troubleshooting, maintenance, and deployment of technical equipment and infrastructure at customer and operational sites.
The Field Engineer will perform hands-on technical work in the field, identify and resolve equipment and system issues, conduct inspections and testing, and ensure installations and maintenance activities are completed safely and according to established procedures.
The ideal candidate is technically minded, comfortable working independently in field environments, and able to communicate effectively with customers, engineers, technicians, and internal teams.
Responsibilities
Install, configure, test, and maintain equipment and technical systems at field locations.
Perform site inspections, equipment assessments, and preventative maintenance.
Troubleshoot and resolve equipment, connectivity, hardware, and system issues.
Diagnose problems using appropriate testing tools and technical procedures.
Perform equipment replacements, upgrades, repairs, and system installations.
Conduct testing and verification to ensure systems are operating correctly.
Support new deployments, service activations, and equipment commissioning.
Respond to service issues and assist with restoration and corrective maintenance.
Work directly with customers and site personnel when required.
Coordinate with engineering, operations, vendors, and other technical teams.
Maintain accurate service records, test results, equipment inventories, and field documentation.
Follow company safety procedures and industry standards while working at customer and operational sites.
Travel to different locations as required to support installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting activities.
