Location: Shakopee, MN

Position Overview

We are seeking detail-oriented and dependable Fiber Operators to support the assembly and production of fiber optic components. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on work, have strong manual dexterity, and can perform repetitive tasks with a high degree of accuracy and consistency.

No prior fiber optics experience is required. Training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform precision assembly tasks using table-mounted tools and equipment.
  • Execute cutting, stripping, cleaning, and preparation of fiber optic components according to established procedures.
  • Work with small parts and delicate components while maintaining quality standards.
  • Operate microscopes and magnification equipment to complete detailed assembly work.
  • Follow visual work instructions, production procedures, and safety guidelines.
  • Complete basic documentation and capture photos as required.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Meet productivity and quality expectations while performing repetitive assembly tasks.
  • Work closely with technicians and team members to support daily production goals.
