IT Support Specialist

We are seeking an experienced IT Support Specialist to provide technical support, infrastructure management, and cloud-based solutions that ensure the security, reliability, and performance of client IT environments. This role will focus on supporting Microsoft technologies, networking, cybersecurity, and end-user systems across multiple client environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide remote and on-site technical support across multiple client environments.
- Manage service requests, incidents, and technical escalations, ensuring timely resolution.
- Troubleshoot and maintain Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra ID, Windows Server, and Windows 10/11 environments.
- Plan and support migrations from on-premises infrastructure to Microsoft Azure.
- Deploy and manage Azure services, including Virtual Machines, Azure SQL, and VPN connectivity.
- Implement and administer Microsoft Intune and endpoint management solutions.
- Configure and support Microsoft Defender and other security technologies.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot SonicWall firewalls, VPNs, and networking equipment.
- Diagnose network, connectivity, security, and infrastructure-related issues.
- Support SharePoint and Microsoft 365 collaboration platforms.
- Maintain the security, reliability, and performance of client IT environments.
- Provide technical guidance to clients and end users while maintaining excellent service standards.
- Identify recurring issues and recommend improvements to infrastructure, security, and support processes.
Required Skills & Experience
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
- Ideally 3+ years' experience in an IT Support, Infrastructure Support, or MSP environment.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra ID, and Windows Server administration.
- Experience supporting Windows desktop environments, networks, and business-critical IT infrastructure.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune, Defender for Endpoint, and Defender for Office 365.
- Experience configuring and troubleshooting SonicWall firewalls, VPNs, and network infrastructure.
- Good understanding of cybersecurity, identity management, endpoint protection, and network security.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to own issues through to resolution.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and support multiple client environments effectively.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical users.
- Fluent English.
- A full, clean Category B driving licence and access to a car are essential, as the role requires travel to client sites.
