๐จ Hiring: Data Center Controls Technicians - BMS / EPMS

๐ข Fully Onsite | 12-Month Contract | Multiple Openings
We're supporting AWS with multiple openings for hands-on Data Center Controls Technicians across critical data center environments in Virginia and North Carolina.
This role sits right at the intersection of building automation, electrical monitoring, mechanical systems, and controls.
You'll be working directly with the systems that keep data centers powered, cooled, monitored, and operating safely.
What you'll work on
๐น BMS / BAS systems supporting chillers, pumps, cooling towers, CRAHs, economizers, temperature sensors, and humidity sensors
๐น EPMS environments monitoring generators, UPS systems, switchgear, PDUs, VFDs, ATS and STS equipment
๐น Controllers, HMIs, IPCs, sensors, relays, and field devices
๐น Point-to-point checkout and commissioning
๐น Loading software and configurations onto controllers and HMIs
๐น Sensor installation, replacement, calibration, and validation
๐น Troubleshooting controls and communication issues
๐น BACnet, Modbus, MQTT, and related protocols
๐น Low-voltage copper and fiber environments
๐น Supporting commissioning, testing, contractors, ticketing, MOPs, and change management

Experience with platforms such as Niagara, Tridium, Schneider Electric, Siemens, Honeywell, Johnson Controls, Automated Logic, Ignition, or similar systems is relevant.
You do not need previous hyperscale data center experience.
The strongest candidates understand the interaction between mechanical systems, electrical systems, controls, and basic networking and are comfortable troubleshooting equipment hands-on in a critical environment.
๐ Must be able to work fully onsite in the assigned Virginia or North Carolina market and float between nearby AWS sites when required.
