Position Title: Trade Compliance Analyst - North America Export
Location: Remote
Position Summary
The Trade Compliance Analyst supports end‑to‑end export compliance operations, including USMCA administration, export controls, classification, (GTS/ECS), and audit readiness. This role ensures regulatory compliance, maintains shipment flow, and supports internal stakeholders through accurate documentation, analysis, and operational oversight.
Key Responsibilities
USMCA Compliance
- Perform USMCA qualifications and re-validations
- Conduct material value calculations and COO determinations
- Coordinate solicitations and documentation follow‑up
- Provide ad‑hoc USMCA support for shipments and business needs
Export Controls & Screening
- Conduct TAA qualification evaluations and support BAA reviews
- Perform restricted and denied‑party screenings (RPLS/DPL)
- Assign ECCNs & HTS and remediate missing classifications
- Manage export holds
ACE Portal & Reporting
- Run and interpret ACE reports to support compliance monitoring
- Assist with data validation, history reviews, and audit preparation
System Governance (GTS/ECS)
- Review and approve shipments in CommShip
- Maintain the GTS RTS log and resolve RTS holds
- Perform ECS site cleanup and compliance reviews
- Validate Vendor End User Certifications (EUCs)
- Conduct sanction screenings
Audit & Reporting
- Prepare Business Objects reports and conduct data analysis
- Complete the Annual Conflict Minerals DPS
- Assist with audit documentation and compliance governance
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, International Trade, or related field preferred
- 2+ years of experience in trade compliance or export operations preferred
- Knowledge of USMCA, EAR, ECCN, TAA, HTS, Country of Origin determination and trade compliance regulations
- Experience with SAP GTS/ECS or similar systems is beneficial
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
