Technical Project Manager - UX & Digital Experience
We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to support the creation and launch of a new end-to-end digital experience for Comcast Business Mobile customers.
This individual will play a key role in leading the strategy, planning, requirements, and delivery of digital capabilities for a new customer portal. The role will also support the implementation of Comcast Business's partnership with T-Mobile and the integration efforts associated with its MVNO environment.
The ideal candidate is a strong cross-functional project leader with experience managing complex digital initiatives, working closely with UX, Design, Development, and business stakeholders. This person should be comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple workstreams, defining and refining requirements, and ensuring critical deliverables remain on track.
What You'll Do
- Lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of a new end-to-end digital experience for Comcast Business Mobile customers.
- Support the implementation and integration of the T-Mobile partnership and related MVNO digital initiatives.
- Create, maintain, and track detailed project plans, timelines, milestones, dependencies, and deliverables.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to define, document, and refine functional and business requirements.
- Partner with UX, Design, Development, and other cross-functional teams to refine requirements and deliver high-quality digital experiences.
- Manage complex projects throughout the full project lifecycle, including inception, design, development, integration, testing, deployment, and launch.
- Coordinate tasks and dependencies across multiple teams and ensure stakeholders have the information and documentation needed to meet project objectives.
- Monitor project progress and communicate status updates, risks, issues, and dependencies to leadership and key stakeholders.
- Identify critical path activities and potential risks and develop mitigation and response plans.
- Lead and track change requests and ensure changes are properly communicated and incorporated into project plans.
- Manage project deliverables and work closely with application and development teams to meet established deadlines.
- Support program leadership in identifying priorities, resource needs, and opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Assist with maintaining project budgets and ensuring projects are delivered within established timelines and quality expectations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 7+ years of overall IT or technology project experience.
- 5+ years of experience managing complex technical or digital projects.
- Experience managing cross-functional projects involving multiple technologies, teams, and business functions.
- Strong experience creating and managing project plans, timelines, milestones, risks, dependencies, and deliverables.
- Experience gathering, documenting, and refining business and functional requirements.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working closely with UX, Design, Product, Development, and Engineering teams.
- Knowledge of project management methodologies, resource management practices, and change management techniques.
- Experience working in Agile environments.
- Agile Scrum certification or completion of a recognized project management curriculum.
- Experience using Rally or similar Agile/project tracking tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Agile, Scrum, and/or Kanban methodologies.
- Experience managing digital transformation, customer portal, mobile, or customer experience initiatives.
- Experience supporting telecommunications, mobile, MVNO, or large enterprise technology projects.
- Experience with enterprise systems or infrastructure-related projects.
- Technical background or familiarity with infrastructure concepts.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification.
What We're Looking For
We are looking for a proactive and highly organized Project Manager who can bring structure to complex initiatives while effectively collaborating with a variety of technical and business stakeholders.
The ideal candidate does not necessarily need to be a deeply technical engineer or Scrum expert, but should be comfortable working in a technical environment and translating high-level business objectives into clear requirements, project plans, and actionable deliverables.
