We are seeking an experienced Technical Account Manager to act as the primary relationship owner for a portfolio of clients. This is a client-facing role that combines relationship management, technical understanding, and strategic planning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary contact for senior management and key stakeholders within client organisations.
  • Build trusted relationships and develop a strong understanding of each client's business, technology environment, and future plans.
  • Lead regular client review meetings and ensure actions, risks, and recommendations are documented and delivered.
  • Identify technical risks, recurring service issues, lifecycle concerns, and improvement opportunities.
  • Work closely with Service Desk, Professional Services, and technical teams to coordinate service delivery.
  • Support technology roadmaps, budgets, contract renewals, and service improvement initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 2-3+ years' experience as a Technical Account Manager, IT Account Manager, Customer Success Manager, Service Delivery Manager, or similar client-facing technology role.
  • Experience within a Managed Service Provider (MSP) or outsourced IT environment is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of Managed IT Services, Microsoft 365, cloud technologies, cybersecurity, networks, infrastructure, and end-user support.
  • Experience engaging with business owners, directors, and senior management.
  • Ability to translate technical risks and recommendations into clear business language.
  • Strong communication, relationship management, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
