ProcessTechnician
Our client is looking for a hands-on Process Technician to support the development, launch, and optimization of advanced manufacturing processes and equipment. This role works directly with engineering teams to bridge the gap between product development and production, ensuring manufacturing systems operate efficiently and reliably.
The ideal candidate enjoys troubleshooting equipment, conducting experiments, gathering data, and contributing to continuous improvement projects in a fast-paced technical environment.
Responsibilities
- Support manufacturing engineering projects related to new product introductions and process improvements.
- Operate, monitor, and evaluate production and development equipment.
- Assist in developing and refining manufacturing methods, workflows, and operating procedures.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and automated systems.
- Perform equipment maintenance, calibration, repairs, and upgrades.
- Collect and analyze manufacturing data to identify trends and process improvements.
- Conduct testing, validation, and qualification activities for new equipment and processes.
- Build, modify, and test fixtures, tooling, and prototype assemblies.
- Perform inspections using measurement and test equipment to verify process performance and product quality.
- Work cross-functionally with engineering, quality, production, and maintenance teams.
Qualifications
Required
- Technical degree, military technical training, or equivalent industry experience.
- 2+ years of experience in manufacturing, engineering support, automation, or technical operations.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience working with manufacturing equipment, assembly systems, or test equipment.
- Ability to interpret drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills.
Preferred
- Experience in electronics, medical devices, aerospace, semiconductor, or industrial manufacturing.
- Familiarity with robotics, PLCs, sensors, machine vision, and automated machinery.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement techniques.
- Experience with validation, process characterization, or quality systems.
