What You'll Do:
✅ Deliver expert on-site and remote support for desktops, servers, and network infrastructure (Windows, LAN/WAN/VLAN).
✅ Troubleshoot and resolve complex hardware, software, and network issues efficiently.
✅ Install, configure, and maintain a wide range of IT equipment including desktops, laptops, printers, and network devices.
✅ Manage and support cloud services like VMWare, Azure, and Office 365.
✅ Keep detailed documentation, produce clear technical reports, and update support tickets with precision.
✅ Ensure compliance with IT best practices and company policies.
✅ Travel within Dublin and nearby areas to client sites, providing hands-on support when needed.
What We're Looking For:
✅ Proven experience as a Field Engineer or similar technical support role.
✅ Solid knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server and Desktop Operating Systems.
✅ Hands-on experience with Microsoft Office 365 administration and security.
✅ Strong skills in troubleshooting networking equipment, firewalls, and routers.
✅ Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as Hyper-V, VMWare, and Azure.
✅ Understanding of backup management solutions.
✅ Exceptional problem-solving abilities with a proactive mindset.
✅ Excellent communication, time management, and customer service skills.
✅ Ideally hold a 3rd level or recognized IT qualification.
✅ Full clean driving license for travel across Dublin.

Network Engineer
Permanent Role - Cheshire (East) based - Hybrid Working (2 days a week on site)
Salary Range of £55,000 to £64,500 (possibly up to £70,000 depending on expertise)
We are looking to recruit a number of Network Engineer SMEs for a leading FS organisation based in Cheshire.
As a skilled SME you will work in our Clients Project Team, leading on transformational programs and networks led initiatives where you will be responsible for creating designs which are in line with current architecture guidelines, ensuring documentation is fit for purpose, as well as ensuring compliance to all network disciplines including participation in governance, change management and risk/audit requirements.
Preferred candidates will ideally have experience working in financial services (familiarity with change control and large-scale environments) and have a background in large-scale enterprise or data centre networks.
Successful candidates will need a minimum 5 years' experience working as a Lead/Senior/SME Network Engineer and have proven project delivery experience also.
You will be a strong communicator - Dealing with Stakeholders on delivery plans providing next steps and updates.
Technical Expertise required:
Routing & Switching (Cisco, Juniper)Firewalls (Fortinet)Load Balancers (F5)NOTE - Ideally, you will be skilled in all three areas, but expertise in at least one is essential.
Other Technical experience that would be beneficial incudes (not mandatory):
Bluecoat, Symantec Proxy, zScaler, Infoblox, Forescout, NetScalerCisco Certified - minimum CCNP Enterprise, FortiGate Associate or Professional and F5 LTM/GTM at 'Certified Technical Specialist' or equivalent level (one or multiple of these certifications)
