Role Summary:
Seeking a motivated Network Technician to support telecommunications network operations, facility maintenance, equipment installation, troubleshooting, and asset management while ensuring site safety and operational readiness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform site maintenance, organize equipment, and maintain facility cleanliness and security.
  • Assist with installation, testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting of telecom and network equipment.
  • Support fiber optic infrastructure, transmission systems, and network restoration during outages.
  • Manage inventory, shipping, receiving, and tracking of equipment and spare parts.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records, trouble tickets, and project documentation.
  • Assist with inspections and maintenance of HVAC, power systems, and telecommunications infrastructure.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma/GED.
  • 1-3 years of experience in telecommunications, networking, or technical maintenance.
  • Basic knowledge of TCP/IP networking, fiber optics, transmission (DS1/DS3/SONET), or switching technologies.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Windows.
  • Strong organizational, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Preferred:

  • Technical education in Networking, Telecommunications, or Electronics.
  • Experience with fiber optics, OTDR testing, fusion splicing, or telecom infrastructure.

Work Conditions:

  • On-call rotation, overtime, and occasional travel required.
  • Indoor/outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
