A leading global engineering and automation organisation is building a next-generation control system platform designed to standardise and modernise conveyor and material-handling operations across large-scale fulfilment and distribution facilities worldwide. The first deployment is already underway, with many more planned.
We are launching a Controls Engineering Academy: a structured programme that takes early-career electrical and controls engineers, provides intensive training on industry-leading controls platforms and processes, and deploys them into engineering teams working on real-world projects.

What You'll Do
- Translate electrical drawings and I/O lists into application configurations
- Test configurations in simulation and on real hardware, including industrial networks, motorised rollers, sensors, and safety I/O devices
- Support commissioning activities as facilities go live
- Work using modern software engineering practices including Git, code reviews, daily standups, and effort estimation
Who We're Looking For
- Degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Mechatronics, or equivalent hands-on experience as a Controls Technician or PLC Programmer (approximately 0-4 years)
- Hands-on PLC exposure on any platform, including Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Beckhoff, CODESYS, B&R, or Schneider
- Comfortable reading schematics, wiring diagrams, and I/O lists
- Some programming experience in any language, with an interest in learning text-based programming and version control
- Curious, hands-on, and naturally inclined to troubleshoot and solve technical problems
- Able to travel or relocate for training and project deployments as required
- Bonus: conveyor or material-handling experience, Structured Text, AutoCAD Electrical, commissioning, Git, or Linux
