Project Overview

Seeking an experienced ISP Engineer to support the design and development of Inside Plant (ISP) infrastructure for multiple network facilities and data center environments. The role focuses on creating and updating engineering drawings, developing design packages, and supporting infrastructure expansion projects involving fiber optic networks and data center equipment layouts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and update ISP engineering drawings using AutoCAD.
  • Convert as-built documentation into engineering templates and design deliverables.
  • Develop and maintain detailed network and data center infrastructure layouts.
  • Produce and manage Statements of Work (SOWs) and associated design packages.
  • Support architecture and infrastructure design activities for network facilities.
  • Coordinate with engineering teams to ensure designs meet project requirements.
  • Prepare documentation packages through various design and approval phases.
  • Interpret existing facility drawings and implement required design modifications.
  • Design and document fiber optic infrastructure within data center environments.
  • Produce rack layouts, equipment placement drawings, and physical network diagrams.
  • Maintain drawing accuracy and ensure all documentation reflects current infrastructure.
  • Support multiple concurrent projects while meeting delivery timelines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure designs adhere to engineering standards and best practices.

Required Experience

  • Strong experience with AutoCAD and engineering drawing production.
  • Experience with ISP (Inside Plant) fiber network environments.
  • Knowledge of data center infrastructure and physical network layouts.
  • Experience creating and maintaining technical drawings and documentation.
  • Understanding of fiber optic network infrastructure.
  • Experience working with design packages and engineering deliverables.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Experience

  • Data center design or infrastructure experience.
  • Experience supporting large-scale network deployment projects.
  • Familiarity with fiber optic network architecture.
  • Experience with BIM models and facility documentation.
  • Background in telecommunications, network infrastructure, or data center environments.
