Service Desk Support Engineer - Trowbridge
A fantastic opportunity has opened up for a Service Desk Support Engineer to join a leading FMCG brand that heavily relies on contract support - meaning this role has long-term potential!
Location: Onsite in Trowbridge
Contract: 6-month rolling
Rate: £200 per day (Inside IR35)
Key Focus
You'll be providing 2nd Line IT Support across a broad tech stack in a fast-paced, user-focused environment. The role involves a mix of remote and desktop-level support with responsibility for incident resolution, troubleshooting, and escalation as needed.
Core Responsibilities
Provide 2nd Line Support via remote and desktop channelsLog and manage tickets through ServiceNowTroubleshoot and resolve issues across hardware, software, and mobileLiaise with 3rd line and specialist teams for escalationsSet up new users, accounts, and devicesConduct root cause analysis on technical issuesSupport end-user IT inductionsTech Stack Includes
ServiceNow, Active Directory, Microsoft Office 365, Windows OSCitrix Workspace & VDI, Cisco Jabber, WebExiOS / Android, Apple DEP, RSA TokensSAP (user-level support)HP/Lenovo hardware troubleshootingMobile Device Management (AirWatch, Lookout Console)What We're Looking For
Proven 2nd Line IT Support experienceStrong communicator (verbal & written)Experience with tech such as Windows OS, ServiceNow, Office 365, Active Directory etc.Must drive and be willing to work onsite 4-5 days/week in TrowbridgeWhat Next?
