We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer / SDET to support reliability and platform testing initiatives across large‑scale streaming platforms, web, mobile, and connected‑TV ecosystems.
This is a highly automation‑driven role focused on framework development, end‑to‑end testing, CI/CD integration, and release stability. This is not a manual QA position-a strong automation and engineering mindset is required.
🔧 What You'll DoDesign, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Cypress, Selenium, Playwright, or similar toolsBuild automated test suites for web applications, APIs, middleware, and platform workflowsDevelop and maintain Python‑based automation scripts and testing utilitiesPerform API and backend testing using REST, JSON, Swagger, Postman, or REST AssuredValidate Java‑based backend and middleware integrationsIntegrate automation into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Concourse, or similar)Analyze logs and troubleshoot failures using monitoring and logging toolsExecute regression, reliability, integration, and performance‑focused testingParticipate in Agile ceremonies, defect triage, and release readiness activitiesCollaborate with developers, DevOps, product, and QA teams to improve release quality✅ What We're Looking For5+ years of QA Automation / SDET experienceStrong hands‑on experience with Cypress and/or Selenium3+ years of Python scripting experienceExperience testing Java‑based applications or middlewareStrong API testing experienceExperience with CI/CD tools such as JenkinsFamiliarity with JIRA, TestRail, Octane, or similar QA toolsSolid understanding of Agile/ScrumStrong debugging, troubleshooting, and communication skills⭐ Nice to HaveExperience with streaming, OTT, media, or connected‑device platformsMobile automation using AppiumExperience with Playwright or modern JavaScript automation frameworksPerformance or reliability testing using JMeterExposure to Concourse CI/CD pipelinesExperience testing on Smart TVs, Roku, Android TV, Alexa, or device‑lab environmentsExperience building automation frameworks from scratchFamiliarity with Splunk or Datadog
