One of our clients is looking for a hands-on Application (AVD) Engineer to support a major application integration and migration programme following recent acquisitions. This is a key role focused on application packaging, deployment, and secure delivery within a modern Azure-based environment.

Key Responsibilities
Package, test & deploy apps into Azure Virtual Desktop
Support and troubleshoot Microsoft Azure
Deliver application on boarding & integration
Operate in a Zero Trust model using Zscaler
Support technical discovery, documentation & issue resolution
✅ Essential Skills & Experience
Strong experience with Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD)
Application packaging (MSIX, App-V, Intune, SCCM)
Understanding of Zero Trust security principles
Experience with Microsoft Entra ID / Conditional Access
Background in app deployment, migration or transformation projects
Strong troubleshooting & communication skills

Experience in regulated sectors (utilities, finance, government)
Exposure to M&A / integration programmes
