We're hiring a Release Train Engineer (RTE) to join a high-performing agile delivery team within a major Irish enterprise undergoing large-scale transformation.

This is a 12-month rolling day-rate contract with strong potential for long-term extension. You'll play a pivotal role in enabling Agile Release Train (ART) success, facilitating PI Planning, and driving delivery excellence across cross-functional teams.

What You'll Do

Lead and facilitate Program Increment (PI) Planning and other SAFe ceremonies across multiple teamsDrive Agile Release Train (ART) deliverability, ensuring alignment with business goalsCoach Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and teams to improve agile maturityManage risks, dependencies, and impediments across the trainCollaborate with stakeholders to ensure transparency, governance, and continuous improvementChampion SAFe Agile practices and foster a culture of collaboration and accountability

What We're Looking For

Proven experience as a Release Train Engineer or senior agile delivery leadFully SAFe qualified, ideally with SAFe SPC certificationStrong facilitation skills and experience running PI Planning eventsExcellent stakeholder engagement and communication skillsBackground in agile coaching, Scrum Mastering, or scaled agile deliveryExperience working in complex, multi-team environments

Duration: 12-month rolling contract (long-term outlook)Rate: €750-€600+ per day depending on experienceLocation: Dublin-based with hybrid working (1 day onsite per week)
