Role: Data & Analytics Associate (Portfolio Valuation exp mandatory)

Valuation team responsibilitiesPerform reviews and checks on the valuations input by the Team Analysts ensuring the correctness of the underlying data.Ensure all underlying NAVs which are taken from the GP capital account directly using NAV as practical expedient are captured accurately.Assist the Team manager in the day-to-day workflow management of the Team.Assist with the sign-off of fund valuations and be involved in the end-to-end process across the DnA (Operations) Teams.Assist with the production of valuation papers for the various Pantheon Valuation Committees and attendance at meetings.Be pro-active in coming up with initiatives and process changes to improve workflows of the team.Assist the team manager to perform quality assurance checks of valuations dataCoordinate the Pantheon Fund's audit processes from a valuation team perspective, providing input to areas that require technical expertise.Provide support to the Team Manager by representing the Team on DnA (Operations) wide projects.
Knowledge and Experience Required
Strong technical skills, with emphasis on Fund of Fund private equity (including equity, infrastructure and private debt) valuations techniques, accounting and data reporting4+ years' experience in private marketsProficiency with Microsoft office tools; Excel, PowerPoint etc.. and knowledge of other data analysis and visualisation tools like Power BI.Ability to work both independently and collaboratively to objectively analyse technical processesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProven ability to develop strong and open working relationshipsStrong focus on control and procedures is essentialExperience of ensuring timely and accurate delivery, working with tight deadlinesExperienced professional working with data in a financial environment.Knowledge of data analysis and management techniquesSelf-starter with strong organisational skillsStrong interpersonal skills, and ability to guide and coach team members on tasksGCS is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
