IT Support Engineer (Permanent role)
Dublin (2 days to office per week Hybrid)
IT Support Engineer providing 24/7 remote support for multiple clients. You handle incidents, changes, requests, monitoring alerts, daily checks, and VMware/backup infrastructure tasks. You're the go‑to technical contact, solving issues, escalating when needed, and maintaining virtual environments.
What you really need:
Strong VMware, Windows or Linux server, virtual and backup infrastructure support experience.Solid troubleshooting across laptops, networks, ITSM tools, ITIL understanding.Ability to multitask across 4-5 customers, deliver great customer service, and communicate well.Advantageous: MCSE/CCNA, security knowledge.In short, this is a Hands-on, analytical, customer-focused engineer role who keeps virtual environments healthy and running smoothly in a managed services setup.
