Site Reliability / Production Engineer

We're seeking a Production Engineer with strong experience supporting software systems in production environments. This position focuses on troubleshooting, monitoring, automation, deployment, and maintaining the reliability and release readiness of critical systems.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve production software issues

Develop and maintain monitoring solutions

Perform software maintenance and implement solutions to production issues

Support the design, development, implementation, and analysis of technical systems

Establish standards and procedures for measuring product quality and release readiness

Recommend improvements to testing techniques and operational processes

Automate application deployment and infrastructure processes

Provision and manage applications in virtual and cloud environments

Partner closely with QA and Software Engineers in an operational capacity

Support continuous delivery of critical applications and systems

Work with deployment, network operations, systems administration, scripting, and coding

Required Experience

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field

3-6 years of experience in a related engineering, systems, infrastructure, or operations role

Experience with Docker and Kubernetes

Experience with Jenkins and continuous integration

Experience with Puppet, Chef, or Ansible

Experience with GitHub, including branching and tagging

Experience with systems and IT operations

Experience managing applications across virtual and cloud infrastructures

AWS and OpenStack experience preferred

Strong scripting and coding background

Familiarity with open-source technologies and automation tools
