A large international organisation is looking for a Senior Modern Workplace Engineer to join its Professional Services team on an initial 12-month contract.
This is a hands-on technical position for an engineer who knows how to build, optimise and troubleshoot enterprise Modern Workspace environments.
The focus is delivery - taking complex Modern Workplace requirements and turning them into stable, scalable solutions across Citrix, VDI, cloud infrastructure, identity, networking and user experience.
What You'll Be DoingTake technical ownership of Modern Workplace and EUC project deliveryDesign and implement enterprise Citrix environmentsBuild and optimise Citrix Virtual Apps and DesktopsWork with Citrix Cloud / DaaS environmentsConfigure and manage NetScaler / ADCDesign and troubleshoot FSLogix and Citrix profile solutionsWork across Active Directory and Group Policy environmentsSupport VDI storage architecture and performanceWork with Azure Files and Azure NetApp FilesTroubleshoot networking, connectivity and application delivery issuesMonitor and optimise the end-user experience using Citrix Director / Analytics and DEX toolingIntegrate Modern Workplace platforms with Microsoft identity and security servicesProduce technical designs, implementation documentation and handover materialWork alongside architects, project managers and customer engineering teams What We're Looking For5+ years' hands-on experience across Citrix / EUC / Modern WorkplaceStrong enterprise Citrix engineering experienceProven experience delivering technical projects rather than purely BAU supportStrong understanding of AD, GPO, networking and storageExperience with FSLogix and profile managementComfortable troubleshooting complex technical environmentsStrong technical documentation skillsProfessional Services or consulting experienceAbility to work independently and take ownership of deliveryCurrent Citrix certification such as CCP-V, CCE-V, CCA-AppDS or CCP-AppDSGCS is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
