An opportunity for an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to help modernise and transform foundational enterprise services that underpin large-scale technology environments.
This role combines deep infrastructure engineering with modern cloud technologies, making it ideal for candidates who understand both traditional infrastructure and cloud-native platforms.
Key ResponsibilitiesModernise critical infrastructure services and support migration programmesDesign, build and maintain highly available cloud-hosted platformsSupport containerisation initiatives across internal services and toolingImplement Infrastructure-as-Code and automation best practicesDevelop operational tooling and deployment workflowsImprove platform resilience, observability and operational readinessCollaborate with engineering teams to evolve infrastructure toward scalable cloud-native architecturesProvide technical leadership across infrastructure transformation projectsSkills & ExperienceEssentialStrong Linux systems administration and engineering experiencePublic cloud experience within AWS, Azure or GCPTerraform and Infrastructure-as-Code expertiseContainer technologies including Docker and KubernetesAutomation and scripting using Python, Go or similar languagesCI/CD pipeline implementation and management experienceUnderstanding of networking and enterprise infrastructure servicesExperience supporting highly available production environmentsPreferredExperience migrating workloads from virtualised environments into public cloudKnowledge of service networking, DNS, identity or authentication platformsExposure to Platform Engineering principlesExperience within large-scale enterprise or technology environmentsCrossplane or Kubernetes platform engineering experienceIdeal BackgroundWe're interested in candidates from backgrounds such as:
