Quality Assurance Analyst - Software & Mobile Applications
We are looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Analyst to join a collaborative Agile team supporting software and mobile application testing. This is a hands-on QA role focused heavily on manual testing, test case development, regression testing, defect tracking, and validating new functionality.
What You'll DoDevelop, maintain, and execute detailed manual test cases and test scenarios.
Perform functional, regression, ad-hoc, and exploratory testing.
Test web-based software applications and mobile applications.
Identify, document, and track defects through resolution.
Work closely with Developers and Business Analysts to investigate and resolve issues.
Create and manage test data needed for testing activities.
Review logs and troubleshoot application issues.
Configure and deploy software to support testing environments.
Analyze existing functionality and identify opportunities to improve test coverage.
Participate in Agile ceremonies and provide QA feedback throughout the development lifecycle.
Manage testing activities against project timelines and release schedules.
Become a subject matter expert on assigned products and functionality.
What We're Looking For2+ years of experience testing web-based software applications.
5+ years of QA experience preferred.
Experience creating and executing manual test cases.
Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and the SDLC.
Experience working in Agile development environments.
SQL experience with SQL Server databases.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and organization.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
Nice to HaveSelenium or other UI automation experience.
Postman, Fiddler, or similar API/web service testing tools.
Jira experience.
TestRail experience.
Experience testing mobile devices or POS systems.
Experience with NFC-enabled applications or devices.
Hardware or electrical/wiring experience.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
