Amazon Robotics is seeking a Senior Software Developer to build and productionize a cloud-based Quality Control platform used to inspect robotic storage racks through 3D camera systems. The role focuses on developing AWS IoT data pipelines, backend services, cloud integrations, and testing frameworks to support a large-scale robotics deployment across multiple sites.

Key ResponsibilitiesBuild and maintain AWS IoT data pipelines using MQTT, AWS IoT Core, Lambda, and S3.Develop scalable backend services in Python for processing image and video data.Integrate cloud services with internal APIs and downstream systems.Own integration testing and ensure end-to-end system reliability.Review, validate, and enhance AI-generated code.Contribute to CI/CD, DevOps, monitoring, and deployment automation.Support validation, production rollout, and post-deployment stabilization activities.Collaborate with distributed engineering teams to deliver project milestones in a fast-paced environment.Required SkillsStrong Python development experience.Hands-on experience with AWS IoT Core, MQTT, Lambda, and S3.Expertise in device-to-cloud or IoT data pipelines.Experience with serverless architectures and API integrations.Strong understanding of CI/CD, DevOps, and production support.Experience with integration testing and system troubleshooting.Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, agile environment.Comfortable using and reviewing AI-assisted code development tools.Nice to HaveComputer Vision, image/video processing, or machine vision experience.Machine Learning or anomaly detection exposure.NVIDIA Jetson or edge-device familiarity.Experience in IoT, robotics, smart devices, industrial automation, or connected products.
