QA Lead - Finance / Payments / Contract

Lead QA working on an integral payment system for a major finance company within their payments team. Emphasis on API testing.

Role - QA Lead

Duration - 6 months with very likely extension

Rate - Negotiable

Location - Hybrid / Hampshire - 3 days per week in the office

Skills -

Experience with Java, Junit, Cucumber, Gherkin, Gatling, Xray, Selenium Webdriver, TestNG, Pact Testing, API Testing Frameworks. AWS expertise preferred.Hoppscotch or Postman experience testing APIsExperience identifying test cases using boundary valuation analysis, negative testing, etc.Drives quality discussions around requirements in refinementPayments network experienceExposure to modern software testing practices including but not restricted to Test Automation, Test First, TDD, ATDD and BDD.Experience in DevOps (preferably working with containerized environments) and build tools using Jenkins CI/CD, Gradle, Github, Nexus and SonarQube and other code coverage tools preferred.Experience testing and implementing API service architecture with Spring Boot.3+ years of Hands-on Test Automation required.

Contract Opportunity: IoT Device & App Security Tester

I am looking for an experienced Security Tester to support the testing of our new range of connected devices over the coming months.

Our upcoming products will include a variety of devices that use Bluetooth and Wireless protocols to connect to our private IoT platform, alongside a companion mobile application for management.

Key Responsibilities

Security testing of physical IoT devices and embedded firmware.

Security testing of the companion mobile app.

Assessing potential vulnerabilities across the full ecosystem (device, app, connectivity, and platform).

Providing clear reporting and recommendations.

What We're Looking For

Proven experience in IoT security testing.

Strong understanding of Bluetooth and Wireless communication security.

Experience with mobile application security testing (iOS and Android).

Ability to work flexibly, depending on when products are available for testing.
