Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior .NET Technical Lead to take ownership of business-critical Microsoft applications and services. This role combines technical leadership, application support, enhancement delivery, and stakeholder engagement within a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities
Own the technical direction, support, and ongoing development of .NET applications.Lead application transition and knowledge-transfer activities.Investigate and resolve complex production issues.Design and deliver enhancements, integrations, and change requests.Review architecture, code quality, and technical debt.Provide solution designs, technical estimates, and recommendations.Lead code reviews, releases, and deployment activities.Mentor developers and promote engineering best practices.Support roadmap planning and continuous improvement initiatives.Essential Experience
8+ years of commercial software development experience.Strong .NET / ASP.NET and modern .NET development expertise.Strong SQL Server development and performance optimisation skills.Experience with APIs, web services, and system integrations.Experience supporting business-critical production applications.Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and root-cause analysis skills.Experience with CI/CD, release management, and deployment processes.Previous Technical Lead, Lead Developer, or Senior Engineer experience.Additional Experience Valued
Experience with .NET Framework 4.8, .NET 8, Angular, SSRS, mobile applications, identity management, secure B2B integrations, or application transition projects would be beneficial.
