The Broadcast Operations Specialist is responsible for monitoring and supporting live and recorded television programming across multiple channels and streaming platforms. This role ensures accurate content delivery, maintains broadcast quality standards, and provides operational support for live events in a fast-paced Network Operations environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesMonitor live broadcasts and recorded content for audio, video, and caption quality.Support daily broadcast operations across linear and digital platforms.Execute playlists, programming changes, and commercial insertions.Perform content verification and quality control checks before air.Support live sports, news, and entertainment broadcasts.Troubleshoot on-air issues and coordinate rapid resolution.Monitor automation systems and channel playout performance.Communicate schedule changes with programming and production teams.Maintain operational logs and incident reports.Assist with system upgrades, testing, and workflow improvements.QualificationsExperience in broadcast operations, master control, or television production.Knowledge of automation and playout systems.Strong troubleshooting and multitasking skills.Ability to work in a 24/7 operational environment.Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
