About the Role

We are seeking a hands-on Linux Engineer to support a live broadcast production environment. This role focuses on Linux server patching, cybersecurity vulnerability remediation, system maintenance, and production support within a mission-critical infrastructure environment.

Key ResponsibilitiesPerform Linux server patching, maintenance, reboots, and post-patch validation.Review and remediate cybersecurity vulnerabilities.Troubleshoot Linux systems, applications, and networking issues.Coordinate production changes with senior engineering teams.Document remediation activities and system updates.Support occasional Windows server patching and vendor application upgrades.Required Skills4-7 years of hands-on Linux systems administration experience.Strong experience with server patching and vulnerability remediation.Ability to troubleshoot in complex production environments.Experience working within change management and operational procedures.Strong communication and documentation skills.Preferred SkillsRocky Linux, CentOS, or RHEL.AWS/EC2 exposure.Bash, Python, or other scripting experience.Grafana, Splunk, Dynatrace, or similar monitoring tools.Experience supporting broadcast, media, streaming, or high-availability environments.
