Fiber Infrastructure Analyst / Fiber Troubleshooting Specialist

Remote | $43-$45/hr

Are you an experienced fiber technician, tester, splicer, or network professional who understands what fiber-test results actually mean?

We are hiring a remote Fiber Infrastructure Analyst to support field teams working on large-scale fiber deployment projects.

Rather than spending every day physically installing fiber, you will act as the technical resource helping field engineers diagnose problems. Field teams perform testing and send the results back to you. You will review the data, determine whether the fiber is performing correctly, identify likely problem areas, and guide the technician through the next troubleshooting steps.

Typical issues may involve:

Excessive optical lossFiber distance discrepanciesDirty or damaged connectorsFaulty splicesIncorrect terminationsRouting issuesPatch-panel or rack connectivityTesting setup problems
