About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Cloud Platform Architect to lead the design, modernization, and automation of a large-scale cloud platform supporting enterprise products and millions of users worldwide. This is a highly technical, hands-on role where you'll define cloud architecture, improve platform reliability, automate infrastructure, and drive DevOps best practices across engineering teams.
The ideal candidate combines deep cloud architecture expertise with strong software engineering skills and has experience building scalable, secure, highly available cloud platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement scalable cloud infrastructure architectures.Build and maintain highly available, multi-region cloud platforms.Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.Design, deploy, and optimize Kubernetes-based production environments.Create automation solutions to eliminate manual operational tasks.Develop production-quality tools and automation using Python, Go, or Bash.Improve platform reliability, scalability, and performance.Design disaster recovery and business continuity solutions.Build observability and monitoring solutions using industry-standard tools.Collaborate with engineering teams to define cloud standards and best practices.Produce architecture documentation and technical design records (ADRs).Drive cloud security, governance, and compliance initiatives.Mentor engineering teams on DevOps and cloud engineering best practices.Required Qualifications
10+ years of experience in Infrastructure Engineering, DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE).Strong experience with public cloud platforms (GCP and/or AWS).Deep expertise with Kubernetes in production environments.Advanced Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) experience.Strong Linux administration skills.Experience designing highly available, fault-tolerant cloud architectures.Strong scripting/programming skills in Python, Go, and/or Bash.Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.Solid understanding of networking, cloud security, and identity management.Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Strong communication and technical leadership abilities.Technical Environment
